The Paradox Church is announcing the launch of a new Paradox Congregation, planting in North Fort Worth in 2027 under the leadership of Pastor Stan Rhoden.

For years, we've sent planters, people, and resources to plant autonomous churches across greater Fort Worth. A Paradox Congregation is something different: a localized expression of The Paradox Church. Same name, same vision, same doctrine, same mission, rooted in a new part of the city with local leadership, and built for multiplication.

Greater Fort Worth is one of the fastest-growing regions in the country, and North Fort Worth sits at the leading edge of that growth. New neighborhoods. New families. New need.

We've long believed our vision to saturate greater Fort Worth with the glory and grace of Jesus was never meant to be contained to one zip code. Saturation, by definition, requires presence. And presence requires people willing to go.

We are not planting to grow. We are planting to multiply, for the glory of God and the good of our city.

Pastor Stan Rhoden — 19 years in ministry, 5 of them faithfully serving Paradox — is being sent as Lead Pastor over Paradox North Congregation. The Rhodens are stepping into one of the fastest-growing parts of the city, ready to see God move in North Fort Worth as it is in heaven.

The North Fort Worth Congregation is the first-ever Paradox Congregation planted out of the Downtown location — a local body of The Paradox Church planting in North Fort Worth in 2027. Same name, same vision, same doctrine, same mission. It will have its own local leadership, its own covenant community, its own serve teams, City Groups, and ministry. It is not a satellite campus. It is not overflow.

For years, we've sent planters and people to start autonomous churches — Grace Southwest, Northbrook, Pillar, Redemption Hill, Southside — fully independent from The Paradox Church. A Paradox Congregation is different. It remains a local body of The Paradox Church: same name, same leadership structure, same doctrinal commitments, same Core Four rhythms.

No. We are not planting to grow. We are planting to multiply — for the glory of God and the good of our city. This is a church planting strategy, not a church growth strategy. The goal is more gospel churches, more gospel presence, more gospel witness across greater Fort Worth.

Yes, but locally contextualized. It will share The Paradox Church's Core Four rhythms (Sunday Gatherings, Prayer, City Groups, Evangelism), live worship, live preaching, and participatory liturgical culture, along with our doctrinal commitments and mission. It will also be contextualized for its community — because North Fort Worth is not Downtown Fort Worth. Same mission. Rooted in its own place.

The target launch is 2027. Over the coming months, we'll be sharing more about the vision for North Fort Worth, about Pastor Stan, and about how you can pray, give, and go. This announcement is the beginning of that conversation.

Start by registering for the Vision Meeting on September 20th. In the meantime, pray — for Pastor Stan, for North Fort Worth, and for God to call the right people to go. When the time comes, there will be clear ways to give and go as well. Stay tuned.
