Sermon outlines
Every Sunday, a one-page outline of the sermon’s big idea is waiting at the Next Steps desk. It’s the big ideas, not every detail — a simple thread you can follow with your eyes.
If you’re hard of hearing, a missed word or phrase doesn’t mean losing the message.
If you’re neurodivergent, it’s an anchor to follow along, so the service feels manageable instead of overwhelming.
Where to find it: the Next Steps desk, on the first floor of the main building. Just ask.
Jesus, our steady anchor
Hebrews 6:13–20
The big idea
Because God’s promise never moves, we don’t have to hold on so tight.
- 1. God made a promisev. 13–15 — to Abraham, and He kept it.
- 2. God backed it with an oathv. 16–18 — so we’d have real, unshakable hope.
- 3. That hope anchors us nowv. 19–20 — through Jesus, who’s already gone ahead of us.
