Church Planting/International Missions – Congregational Prayer

On the first Sunday of each month we pray, as a family, for a particular aspect of the mission that God has called us to and for the people God is forming us into, by His grace. Then, throughout the month we commit to continual prayer on that particular topic. This month our prayer is for Church Planting/International Missions.

Now the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain to which Jesus had directed them. And when they saw him they worshiped him, but some doubted. And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age." Matthew 28:16-20

But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

We pray that:

We would plant churches in Fort Worth and the surrounding areas: Specifically, that we would start new churches and gatherings in Benbrook, Burleson, East Fort Worth, Aledo, Crowley, the Northside, and wherever God calls us or opens up doors for us.

We would plant churches internationally: Whether through partnerships, indigenous leaders, or pioneering new works, we pray 1000s meet Jesus through The Paradox planting churches internationally.

Wwould be about our sending capacity much more than our seating capacity: Multiply us. Multiply disciples, leaders, City Groups, churches, and missionaries so that your glory would be made known to the ends of the earth.

Please begin to pray for these things now asking God to save many as we proclaim and display the good news of Jesus.Find more content from past Congregational Prayers here.
