Congregational Prayer: Gospel Renewal of Fort Worth

Build houses and live in them; plant gardens and eat their produce. Take wives and have sons and daughters; take wives for your sons, and give your daughters in marriage. . .But seek the welfare of the city where I have sent you into exile, and pray to the Lord on its behalf, for in its welfare you will find your welfare. — Jeremiah 29:5-7

Our prayer is that:

1. We would have boldness and love in evangelism: That we would repent of our indifference and fear, and love others well with bold conversations about the Good News that Jesus’ grace extended to us on the cross saves.

2. The Gospel would saturate areas of Fort Worth where there is great need: And that this would happen through our sacrificial love and boldness on mission.

3. Other churches in our city would be faithful and fruitful: Praying specifically for the church you came from or the church you “don’t like”.

4. The oppressed would be cared for: The women in the sex industry, refugees, homeless, single moms, and the unborn.

5. That The Paradox Church would be a people that proclaim and display the glory and grace of God to a people in need of glory and grace.
